New Year, Same Me

When I started this blog, I started with the intention of sharing my journey as a parent with twins with Autism.  We shared our story and started a Facebook page called Sam’s Voice, and Sam decided he no longer wanted to be a part of that, so we changed.

As I changed, I did so without direction, hoping it would just develop on its own.  Then, people started sending me free products in exchange for blog reviews.  I did that, and I hated every minute of it.  When I began to get paid to do the same, I did it with less dread, but I still felt we lost our mission.  I quickly became burned out.

I am not going to say that anything related to my blog is part of any New Year’s resolution.  That would be a lie.  There is no new year, new me.  The only thing I know is that I am not going to be doing this for anyone other than myself and my audience this time around.  I will not be burned out, and I will not do free reviews.

Now that I have said that, I hope you all had a wonderful New Year.  Much love.  Keep on smiling.
