I love getting my Birchbox. I never do the peek to see what is coming, or I have not yet. This is my second box.
The first product is Beauty Protector protect and detangle leave in conditioner. It is the little red bottle. It sells for 23.50. The product has a very light, pleasant odor. It does not leave the hair greasy, and I have used better detanglers. I really like this product.
The black bottle is Oribe’s Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray. You are supposed to spray and toussle the hair. I love the way this stuff smells. After I used it, I could not stop smelling my hair. I love this product, and the full bottle sells for 39.00 on Birchbox.
The little white bottle is Air Repair Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer. It is another one with a really great scent but I do not think there is enough in this tiny 7 ml bottle to do a proper review. The price on Birchbox for a full size of this item is $21.00.
The pink tube is Laura Geller Color Luster Lip gloss. I really like this product. The label the states the color is cookie dough. It does not smell or taste like cookie dough. It is also the same color as my lips, only shinier. I would buy this product, for sure. The price on Birchbox is $19.00.
The last product I received was a little bit of a letdown. It was a great color, it had great sheen, it was also broken. Birchbox is going to replace this product for me and numerous other customers who had the same issue. They are also going to replace the broken perfume I got last month. The pallete with the color I received is $25.00. I only got one color, so I cannot review this product, anyway. It is the Manna Kadar Cosmetics Day Dream Pallete.
I have enjoyed the past two months of Birchbox, but I have a feeling there is a much better subscription sample out there. This is okay for $10.00, I just really feel you can get most of this stuff completely free, anyway. I get free stuff in the mail almost every day, and sometimes it is much larger than what I am paying for here. Next month will definitely tell me if I want to continue with this company or go to another one. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know.
