Migraine Buddy: My New Headache Tracker App

In my never-ending quest for headache management, I see every step forward as a major victory.  I still have not found a cure.  Not hemp seed oil, nor vitamin; not yoga, nor meditation.  Beyond the Reglan/Benadryl/Tramadol shot, I really cannot find relief.

My issue is I cannot get these shots every day, and my cluster headaches are seasonal and every day.

This is why my tracker has become my new favorite app.

By HEALINT Pte Ltd, the app is free.  I stumbled on it scrolling down Facebook.  It was purely accidental.  What it does is keep the journal of the headache for you.  You just put in the information.  Easy enough.

So far, this is what mine looks like today.

What I have not really been doing is putting an end time.

The headaches come and go all day, and they start about 5 a.m.  I do not usually put that time in.  I cannot stand to look at the phone.  Here is what it looks like for me.

The Migraine Buddy is the cute little icon on the lower left.  As you can see when it is opened, it is well organized and a major help.  You just add times and symptoms.  I typed in tachycardia on mine because I usually have that before and during an attack.

I would suggest anyone with chronic headaches get this.

Oh, and NO, I do not use Snapchat.  My son told me the pics on the app look better than regular iPhone pics.  I haven’t tried that yet.
