How the Boys Did in Respite Care While I was away

I was not able to drop the boys off at the respite house.  I left at 4 a.m. and they were to be there at 11 a.m.

Groceries were bought for their stay.   Basically it was all what they liked and requested.  This is a wonderful way to make the kids feel at home.

All clothes were washed, folded, and packed when they came home.

It rained a lot, so the activities were a little limited.  I do know they did go to CiCi’s for dinner and games.  They also hit a restaurant.

The boys loved their room and bathroom.  They felt right at home.

If you have children with Autism, you know it can be extremely hard to drag out conversations and explanations from them.  The boys had fun.  They really refuse to say any more.

Would I leave my children there again?  Absolutely.

They were well taken care of.  They were happy.

What more can we ask for?
